  • Why does my external sale show in another currency?

Because Clickmax keeps the currency the platform charged in and shows the value in it. A US$ 50 sale on Whop shows as $50.00, not as R$ 50.00.

Where: menu Sales → My Sales, tab Sales via external platforms; menu Sales → External sales recovery; and on the contact, in the external metrics block.

Values in different currencies are never added together

There is no total that merges dollars and reais: adding 50 to 120 would produce a number that is not valid in any currency. That is why the indicators show one currency at a time.

When there are sales in more than one currency, a currency selector appears next to the indicators. It starts on the currency you earned the most in and switches the whole block at once: revenue, number of buyers and average ticket all become that currency only.

With a single currency the selector is hidden — there would be nothing to choose.

What the selector changes on each screen

    ScreenWhat the selector affects
My Sales, external tabRevenue, buyers, average ticket, sales per channel and the period chart
External sales recoveryRecoverable value and the values for declined, charged back, refunded and cancelled
ContactExternal LTV, External Average Ticket, External Products and Purchases

It is the same selector on both sales screens: switching the currency on one applies to the other too.

The sales list does not follow the selector: each row always shows in its own sale's currency, so you never lose sight of what was charged in what. The same goes for the lists on the recovery screen.

The cart abandonment counter is the one exception: it counts every abandonment, in any currency, because platforms do not always report the currency when a cart is abandoned. Since that indicator shows a count and not an amount, counting all of them is the truer reading.

The contact's last purchase does not follow the selector either — it is always the most recent one, in any currency.

Older sales show in Brazilian reais

Sales recorded before Clickmax started storing the currency show as BRL. Every platform integrated until then charged in reais, so that is the correct reading for them — and there is no way to infer another currency for a past sale.

    Currencies without their own symbol

Charges in crypto and other assets (BTC, ETH, USDT, WHOP_USD, XAU) show the code in front of the value, for example WHOP_USD 50.00, because there is no standard symbol for them.

Very small values in those currencies may show as zero: Clickmax stores values with two decimal places.

    If it did not work

    • The value still shows in R$ and the sale was in another currency: check on the source platform which currency was charged. If the platform does not report the currency in its webhook, Clickmax records the sale without one and shows it in reais.
    • The selector does not appear: it only exists from two currencies onwards. If all your sales are in the same currency there is nothing to switch.
    • The total changed after I switched currency: that is expected — each currency has its own total, and they do not add up.
    • The recoverable value dropped: if you sell in more than one currency, the value is now the selected currency's only. Switch in the selector to see the others.
    • Integrations — sales coming from external checkouts.
    • Integrate Whop — the integration that most often charges in a foreign currency.
    • Outlier Programme — its targets are in Brazilian reais, which changes which external sales count.
