      • Modules and lessons

      Members area content has three levels: the members area (the portal itself) holds modules, and each module holds lessons. The student browses the modules and opens one lesson at a time.

      Before you start: creating and editing content is Owner, Admin or Editor level. How many members areas you can have is capped by your plan.

      The structure

      Beyond the content itself, the portal has classrooms, a community, showcases, banners and a calendar — the content is the core, the rest is what surrounds it.

      Create with AI

      Under My Contents, Create New Content opens the method picker. Choose With AI and a box asks Which courses, modules and lessons do you want to offer? — write the lesson names and paste the video links, like this:

      Panda Video, Vimeo and YouTube links are accepted, and they go in exactly as you pasted them — Max does not invent an address or create a lesson you did not ask for, and it keeps the order you wrote. A lesson you list with no link is not created — Max tells you at the end which ones were left out, and you add the video afterwards.

      Below the box there are clickable examples. Clicking one fills the field so you can adjust it before sending — nothing is sent on the click. When the field already has text, the example is added as a new paragraph instead of replacing what you wrote. The field takes up to 2,000 characters, and anything beyond that is cut at the end of the last word that fits.

      Here the description is required: with no list there is no structure to build. Max creates the course, the modules and the lessons and gives you the link — lessons start at the module root, and you organise them into submodules afterwards. Cover, description and release are yours to adjust next.

      From scratch is still there, beside it: it opens the same form as always. If With AI does not appear, your access to Max may not be enabled.

      Submodules

      A module can have loose lessons, submodules, or both. In Modules and lessons, the Add submodule button sits inside the open module and in the module menu.

      • Loose lessons come first; submodules follow, in the order you arrange them.
      • To put an existing lesson into a submodule, drag it there or use Move to… in the lesson menu. Module root takes the lesson out of the submodule.
      • Banners always stay at the module root.
      • Delete submodule does not delete its lessons: they go back to the module root.
      • Release rules are still set on the course, module and lesson. A submodule has no release rule of its own.

      How members browse lessons

      In the lesson player, the lessons panel shows the whole course. In Content style, the Lessons menu layout option chooses how that panel is organised:

      The option only shows when the Lessons panel is on. In both layouts, the next-lesson button follows the same order: the module's loose lessons, then each submodule.

      Who sees what

      A student's access is set by their purchase: the product they bought determines which content is unlocked. That means creating a lesson does not make it visible to everyone — it appears for whoever is entitled to the product it belongs to.

      How members watch video lessons

      Lessons with a YouTube video open in the members area's own player, with play and pause, a progress bar, sound (mute and unmute), playback speed and full screen.

      Videos from other providers, such as Vimeo and Panda Video, use the provider's own player.

      Resuming where they stopped

      The members area saves the point in the video where the member stopped. When they come back to the lesson, the video continues from that point, and the "Continue watching" section shows how much they have already watched.

      • Applies to YouTube and Vimeo videos. For Panda Video, the watched time is recorded, but the lesson starts from the beginning.
      • A member who watched to the end, or stopped in the last few seconds, starts over.
      • Marking the lesson as completed does not erase the saved point.

      If it didn't work

      • The student cannot see the content: confirm which product unlocks that material, and that their purchase is active.
      • You cannot create another area: you may have reached your plan's limit.
      • YouTube's title shows up when pausing or dragging the progress bar: this comes from YouTube itself and cannot be hidden for videos hosted there.
      • The lesson shows "Video unavailable": the video was removed, made private, or had embedding turned off on YouTube. Set it to public or unlisted, with embedding allowed.
