Why did my TikTok post go to drafts?
On TikTok, Clickmax does not publish straight to the profile: it sends the video or the photos to the account drafts. The account owner opens the TikTok app, reviews the post and publishes it from there. That is why the post shows Sent to TikTok drafts.
What changes in Clickmax
- The upload shows as Published when it reaches the drafts, but without the See on the network link: the video address only exists after the person publishes it in the app.
- TikTok posts show no Results in Clickmax, because the draft is not public yet.
- Each TikTok account gets up to 5 drafts in 24 hours. If a new post goes over that, the Before you continue list warns you and you pick another time.
The authorization on the TikTok tab
On the TikTok tab of New post:
- Check I reviewed the content and authorize sending it to the drafts of this TikTok account. Without it, Schedule, Add to queue and Publish now do not go on. Save draft works without it. Later, when you click Schedule draft on the post, Clickmax asks for the same check before it schedules.
- By sending, you agree to the TikTok Music Usage Confirmation (the link is on the tab).
- Who can see it starts at Set in the TikTok app: the person picks it when publishing the draft.
- Paid content for another brand cannot be private on TikTok: with that option checked, Who can see it cannot stay at Only me.
