  • Where do I find the recording and result of a call?

    Every call made with the Clickmax dialer becomes an activity on the contact's timeline — and on the opportunity's timeline too, when the call started from one. The activity gathers the real call duration, the result you registered, the note, and a player to listen to the recording.

    The contact who answers is not automatically told the call is being recorded — see is the contact told that the call is being recorded?.

    Before you start

    • Voice calls must be enabled for your user. If you don't see the Call button, contact support.
    • Any workspace role that can see the contact can see call activities.

    Find the call on the timeline

    1. Open the contact (or the opportunity the call started from).
    2. On the activity timeline, look for the Call completed entry — the title shows the real duration of the conversation, for example Call completed (2min 5s). Calls that didn't connect show as Call not completed, with the reason.
    3. The activity shows:
      • the result the attendant registered at the end of the call (Answered, No answer, Voicemail, Wrong number, Callback scheduled, or Not interested);
      • the note written in the call result form;
      • the audio player to listen to the recording right on the timeline.

    When the recording appears

    The recording is not instant: after the call ends, the audio is still processed. It usually becomes available on the activity within a few minutes. If the call entry is already there but the player isn't, reload the page a little later.

    The result and the note appear as soon as the attendant saves the form at the end of the call — including when they save it after the call already shows on the timeline.

    Calls made before this update stay as they were registered: no recording, result, or note on the timeline, and with the duration rounded to whole minutes in the title.

    Where else the call appears

    • On the History tab of the call window, during a new call to the same contact — useful to pick up context before talking.
    • On the contact's message timeline, alongside WhatsApp, email, and other channels, filtering by the Call channel.
