Why did LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube disappear from the contact?
They did not disappear: the contact panel shows LinkedIn, Twitter / X, TikTok and YouTube only when the contact already has that profile filled in. Since most contacts only have email, phone and Instagram, the empty rows stay collapsed so the panel is not a list of blank fields. To fill one in, click the arrow at the end of the last contact row.
Before you start — open an opportunity (or the contact page) and look at the left panel, with email, phone and Instagram. Editing the fields requires permission to edit contacts; without it you still see the filled networks, but cannot change them.
Show the empty networks
- Open the opportunity and find the contact panel on the left.
- Click the arrow next to the last contact field shown.
- All four networks appear, including the ones with no value.
- Click the network you want to fill in, type the profile and confirm — the value is saved right away, like every other field in the panel.
- Click the arrow again to collapse the ones still empty.
What stays visible at all times
- Email, Phone and Instagram always show, even when blank.
- LinkedIn, Twitter / X, TikTok and YouTube show up on their own as soon as they get a value — including values that arrive by import, automation or from another screen.
- If you clear the value of one of those four, it collapses behind the arrow again.
Frequently asked questions
Does the arrow ever disappear? Yes: when all four networks are filled in there is nothing left to reveal, so the arrow is not shown.
Does this change contact filters? No. The field still exists while hidden, and filters and segments keep finding contacts with it empty or filled.
