  • Set up your email domain

Verify a domain in your DNS panel and register a sender address inside it. That confirmed sender is what lets you run email broadcasts and automations — without it, sending fails with an invalid-sender error.

Role: any authenticated workspace member — the email routes require no specific role. Plan:

    Prerequisites

    • A domain of yours, already connected to your workspace.
    • Access to that domain's DNS panel (Cloudflare, Registro.br, GoDaddy and so on).

    Steps

    1. In Messaging, open the email tab and start connecting your first email domain.
    2. Choose a domain from the workspace. If the list is empty, connect an existing domain (or buy one) before continuing.
    3. Copy each DNS record (Type, Host, Value) into your domain's DNS panel and verify. Propagation can take a few hours; you can finish later from the domain's detail page.
    4. Add a sender: fill in the Sender Name and just the part before the @ (the domain is fixed). Save it and confirm the address from your inbox. The status stays as awaiting confirmation until you do.
    5. With the domain Verified and the sender confirmed, the channel is ready to send.

You can only add senders once the DNS records have been verified. While DNS is still Pending, verify again from the domain's detail page.

    If it didn't work

    • An invalid-sender error when sending email (from an automation or an opportunity action): the chosen sender does not exist or does not belong to this workspace. Register and confirm a sender on this workspace's domain.
    • DNS still not verified: the records have not propagated, or they are wrong. Check Type, Host and Value in your DNS panel and verify again.
    • No access to the settings: your workspace role may not allow editing channels — see no permission.
