      • How do I send an image to Max?

      When showing is easier than explaining, send the image with your message: a screenshot of an alert, an error message, a page you want as a reference, a photo or a logo. Max reads each image, including the text in it, and answers about what you showed.

      Before you start:

      • Works in every Max chat, on the Max screen and in the side panel.
      • Accepts PNG, JPG, WebP and GIF (only the first frame of an animated GIF). Each file can be up to 20 MB.
      • Up to 5 images per message.

      Attach the images

      Use whichever way is easiest. Thumbnails show up above the message field and add up to 5.

      • Paste: take the screenshot, click the message field and press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on Mac). Copied text still pastes as usual.
      • Drag: drop the files on the message field.
      • From computer: click the + on the left of the field, then Add photos, and select one or more images. In the large field of the Max home screen, the button is Attach image, which opens the same menu.
      • From Drive: click the + › From Drive. The Gallery opens on the Max folder of your Drive; Do seu Drive browses the rest of your spaces. Double-click the image (or select it and click Usar imagem).

      To remove an image before sending, hover its thumbnail and click the X.

      Send

      1. Write what you want to know or do, for example "what is this alert on the sales page?". You can send the image alone, but a sentence helps Max look at the right spot.
      2. Press Enter. While Reading the images… shows, Max is identifying what each image contains; the message goes out right after.

      The images stay in your message in the conversation, in the order you attached them. If you send several, you can refer to them by position ("in the second image…").

      Where the images are kept

      Every image you send to Max is also kept in the workspace Drive, under My drive › Max. The folder is created on the first send and only you can see it. An image you picked from your Drive is not copied: it stays where it was.

      If your role has no access to the Drive, the From Drive option does not show up and images go only to the conversation.

      If something goes wrong

      • "You can attach up to 5 images per message." You went over the limit. Send the first ones and the rest in your next message.
      • "Only PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF images can be attached." Turn a PDF or SVG into a screenshot first.
      • "The image is larger than 20 MB." Shrink the image or capture only the part that matters.
      • Max missed a small detail. Large images are scaled down before sending. Crop the screenshot to the problem area or type the text Max needs to read.
