Set up coproduction commissions
Open the product, go to the Coproduction tab, add each coproducer's email with their revenue share, and save. The combined commission of every coproducer cannot exceed 80%.
Before you start
- Access: you need edit access to this workspace's products — coproduction is saved alongside the product's main offer. There is no further role restriction.
- Plan: saving coproduction is not blocked by plan in the code.
- The product must be synced with the gateway. Products not yet synced do not open the Coproduction tab and redirect back to the product panel.
- Each coproducer receives their revenue in their own Clickmax account. If they do not have an account yet, or have not finished their seller registration (KYC), the coproduction stays pending until they do — see seller registration.
Steps
- Open the product and click the Coproduction tab.
- Create the first coproduction (or add another coproducer if some already exist).
- Enter that coproducer's revenue share as a percentage. The default is 10%, and each row accepts 0% to 80%.
- Enter the email of their Clickmax account.
- Repeat for each coproducer. The shares must add up to 80% or less — above that, saving is blocked with a warning that the total commission must be under 80%.
- Save.
Each coproducer shows a status:
- Active — account and payouts ready; already included in the revenue split.
- Awaiting registration — the email had no Clickmax account, so the person was invited to create one on the free Starter plan. The coproduction activates once they finish.
- Awaiting activation — they have an account but still need to complete their seller registration (KYC).
Removing a coproducer
Click the delete icon on the coproducer's row and confirm. Removal is irreversible: a removed coproducer cannot be added back to the same product.

If it didn't work
- The commissions added up to more than 80% and saving was blocked: reduce the shares.
- A coproducer is stuck on Awaiting registration or Awaiting activation: ask them to finish their seller registration.
- The Coproduction tab will not open, or you cannot save: check your access in no permission.
