  • How do I ask the AI to connect a channel?

Say it in one sentence — "I want to connect my Instagram", "is my WhatsApp connected?", "I need to reconnect Telegram". The AI checks the channel's real status, explains in plain words what you will need and answers with a button that opens the connection screen. You do the connection itself on the screen: Meta login, QR code, bot token or DNS.

    Before you start:

    • The AI never asks for a password, token, verification code or QR code in the chat.
    • Role: the button only shows for screens your role can open. Without access, the AI says so and suggests asking the Owner. See the permissions table.
    • People with restricted access only see the accounts assigned to them, so the AI may not see an account someone else connected.
    • To use your own AI instead of Max, see the MCP reference (Portuguese).

    1. Ask for the channel

The AI handles WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram and email (domain and sender for sending, or the company email inbox for support).

For WhatsApp, it asks how you want to connect if you did not say:

    • Official API: needs a Facebook account that administers the Business Manager, a verified business with a WhatsApp number and access to the number to receive the code. This is the option that allows Meta-approved templates and broadcasts to people who have not messaged you in the last 24 hours.
    • WhatsApp Web: just the phone with WhatsApp to read the QR code. It does not go through Meta and does not use templates. It is not endorsed by WhatsApp: misuse, with excessive sending, can get the number banned.

For the other channels, it lists what the connection screen asks for:

    • Instagram: a professional account (Business or Creator) and access to authorize Meta and manage direct messages.
    • Telegram: a bot created in @BotFather and its token.
    • Email for sending: a domain of yours already connected to the workspace and access to its DNS panel.
    • Company email inbox: IMAP and SMTP enabled, 2-step verification and an app password.

    2. If the channel is already connected

The AI tells you which account is connected (number, @ or address) and offers the next step, like building an automation with the channel or creating the first WhatsApp template. It does not send you to reconnect an account that is working.

If the connection has a problem, it tells you which:

    • Incomplete connection: the connection started and did not finish. Use Resume connection on the screen.
    • Account connected elsewhere: confirm Move account here on the screen if you want to bring it over.
    • Lost access: reconnect the same account. Conversations, history and automations come back as they were.
    • Sender not confirmed: finish the domain verification on the email screen.

    3. Come back to the chat after connecting

Say "done, I connected it". The AI checks again and, with the account connected, moves on to what you wanted to do with it.

    If it didn't work

    • The AI says it found no account, but there is one: you only see the accounts assigned to you. Ask the Owner to add you to Who can use it on the account.
    • The button did not show: your role cannot open the connection screen. Ask the Owner to connect it or give you access.
    • The AI says the sender is not confirmed, but DNS is already set: verification can take a while. Check on the email screen.
