How do I archive, restore, or delete a webinar?
Everything happens in the list, at Marketing › Webinar › Webinars, through each webinar's ⋯ menu. Archiving deletes nothing: the webinar leaves the active list, its public page stops opening, and you can unarchive it anytime. Actually deleting — with no way back — only shows up for webinars that are already archived.
Role: any member with workspace access.
The total number of webinars for the current filter shows next to the status tabs, by the search field.
Archive a webinar
- In the list, click the webinar's ⋯ menu.
- Click Archive.
- Confirm in the dialog that opens.
The webinar leaves the active list and only shows in the Archived tab. Its public page stops opening — anyone visiting the link sees a "not found" page. Registrations, sessions, and statistics are kept.
Unarchive
- In the list, open the Archived tab.
- Click the webinar's ⋯ menu.
- Click Unarchive.
The webinar comes back as a Draft. For the public page to work again, publish it once more by opening the webinar and clicking Published at the top.
Deactivate a published webinar
Deactivate shows in the ⋯ menu only for Published webinars. It is the quick way to unpublish without leaving the list:
- Click the published webinar's ⋯ menu.
- Click Deactivate.
The webinar goes back to Draft and its public page stops opening immediately. It stays in the active list, and you can publish it again anytime.
Delete permanently
Real deletion only exists for webinars that are already archived — a deliberate safety lock so nothing is lost by accident:
- Open the Archived tab.
- Click the webinar's ⋯ menu.
- Click Delete permanently.
- Confirm in the dialog that opens.
This action cannot be undone. The webinar leaves every list, including the Archived tab. If there is any chance you will need it again, keep it archived instead.
