Add several contacts to a pipeline at once
In the Contacts list, select the contacts and use Add to a pipeline. Each contact becomes an opportunity in the stage you choose. Contacts that already have an open opportunity in that pipeline stay where they are — unless you turn on Move to the chosen stage.
Before you start
- Role: owner, administrator or coordinating attendant. Other roles do not see the action. Check the permissions table.
- To use an existing pipeline it needs at least one stage. If you have none yet, use Start from scratch.
Steps
- In Contacts, tick the contacts — or tick the header checkbox and use Select all N to take everything the current filters show.
- In the action bar that appears, open More actions and click Add to a pipeline.
- Under Where should these contacts go?, pick:
- Existing pipeline — you choose the pipeline and stage.
- Start from scratch — a new pipeline with 4 ready-made stages (Novo Lead, Em contato, Negociação and Fechamento); contacts land on the first one.
- With Existing pipeline, select the Pipeline and the Destination stage. Optionally set the Card owner.
- Still under Existing pipeline, decide what to do with Contacts already in this pipeline (see below).
- Click Add to pipeline.
When it finishes, a notice shows how many opportunities were created, how many were moved and how many contacts stayed where they were. View pipeline opens the board.
Contacts already in this pipeline
A contact never gets a second opportunity in the same pipeline. What changes is what happens to the one it already has:
- Move to the chosen stage off (default) — the contact is skipped and its opportunity stays in its current stage.
- Move to the chosen stage on — its open opportunity is dragged to the Destination stage, as if you had moved it on the board: it lands at the end of the column, the history records the move and the stage automations react as usual.
- Allow moving back a stage (only shown when the previous switch is on) — off, contacts whose opportunity sits in a stage later than the destination stay where they are; on, they move back to the chosen stage.
Won or lost opportunities are never moved: they count as "already there".
Moving counts toward the destination stage card limit just like creating does. If the stage has a limit and it would be exceeded, the action is refused before anything changes.
Large selections
Above 200 contacts the action runs in the background. The Adding to the pipeline in background notice appears right away and progress shows under Bulk actions in the corner of the screen.

If it didn't work
- Add to a pipeline is missing from More actions → your role does not manage pipelines. Check the permissions table.
- The notice says the import would exceed the stage limit → the destination stage has a card limit. Choose another stage or reduce the selection.
- The contact stayed in its old stage → Move to the chosen stage was off, or its opportunity sits in a later stage and Allow moving back a stage was off. Repeat the action with the option on.
