How do I export my visitors' visits as CSV?
In Contacts & Commercial → Other → Visitors, click Export CSV in the bar above the table, tick the columns you want in the file and click Export. The file has one row per visit (session) of the visitors the list shows with the current filters and search. It is generated in the background: once it is ready, the download link appears under Bulk actions.
Before you start
- A workspace role with CRM access. The Guest and Attendant roles (without the Coordinator sub-role) cannot export — the same rule as the contact export. Check what each role covers in Roles and permissions.
- The export respects the Filters and the ID or IP search applied to the list. If you only want the visitors of one page or one channel, filter before exporting.
- The period is the same as the list: the last 30 days. The file includes the visits from that period of the listed visitors.
Step by step
- Go to Contacts and click Visitors.
- Apply the Filters and search you want. The file comes out with the same visitors the table shows — see How do I filter the visitors list?.
- Click Export CSV in the bar above the table. The Export visitor sessions window opens, with the number of visitors going into the file (N visitors with the current filters) and the period.
- Tick the columns you want in the file. They come in three groups — Session, Visitor and Contact — and the Select all and Clear all buttons tick or untick all of them at once.
- If any ticked column carries personal data, the window shows the N column(s) with personal data notice. See Personal data in the file before moving on.
- Click Export. The button reads Exporting… while the request is registered. With no column ticked, the window says Select at least one column. and does not export.
- The Export sessions of N visitors task shows up in the task notice in the corner of the screen. Once it completes, click View details — or click View all activities to open Bulk actions and, in the history, click the Export visitor sessions — N colunas task (the detail opens with the type Sessions export). Under Generated file, click the button named after the file (sessoes-de-visitantes.csv) to save it.
You can close the window and keep working while the file is generated. It stays available under Bulk actions after the notice goes away.
What the file contains
Each row is one visit. A visitor who made three visits in the period appears in three rows: the visit data changes from row to row, while the visitor and contact data repeat. Only the columns you ticked go into the file. The column headers in the file are in Portuguese, whatever language the interface is in — the tables below show the header as it appears in the file.
Session
Iniciou checkout, Comprou and Formulários enviados are signals of the visit, not of the visitor: they say what happened in that session. To know whether the person ever purchased, look at all of their rows.
Canal da sessão is the channel of that visit. Canal de origem (primeira visita), in the Visitor group, is the channel that brought the person the first time — the same one the Channel column of the list shows. The two only match on the first visit; see How to see where my page visitors came from. In both columns the channel comes out as a lowercase English name: google, facebook, instagram, tiktok, youtube, linkedin, whatsapp, email, referral, direct or other.
When the visit started on a page marked as External — one that lives on your own site — URL de entrada carries the public address set on that page, not the internal address ClickMax serves it through. It is the same rule as the visitor screen.
Visitor
Contact
The contact is the same one the list shows: when the visitor was linked to more than one contact, the first link wins.
Personal data in the file
The columns of the Contact group and the IP do primeiro acesso, IP do último acesso and User agent columns come out as plain text, with no masking. When you tick any of them, the window shows the N column(s) with personal data notice and reminds you that they will be exported as plain text, under the LGPD (Brazil's data protection law) guidelines. Tick those columns only when you need them and keep the file with the same care as your contact base.
Current limits
- The file covers the same period as the list: the last 30 days by default and 180 days at most. The export window has no period selector.
- The file is generated in the background. The download link lives under Bulk actions, not on the Visitors screen.
- Any value with no record comes out as
-— including the Contact group columns on visits of people who have not become a contact yet. - Dates and times come out in ISO 8601 format, in UTC (for example,
2026-09-01T14:03:00.000Z). - Values that start with
=,@,+or-followed by text (a referrer or UTM crafted as a formula, for example) come out with a leading apostrophe ('=...), so the spreadsheet shows them as text instead of running them. Phone numbers in international format (+55...) and negative numbers are unchanged. - The file is comma-separated and UTF-8 encoded, without BOM. If accents look wrong when opening it straight in Excel, import the file through the text data option and choose UTF-8.
