How do I export an automation’s executions as CSV?
In the automation’s Executions tab, click Export. Choose which column groups you want in the file, confirm, and the export runs in the background: the file shows up for download in the Bulk actions center, the same one that receives contact exports.
Role: any member with access to the workspace.
Before you start
- An automation that has run at least once. With no executions in the current selection, the Export button is disabled.
Steps
- Open the automation and go to the Executions tab.
- To export only part of the executions, filter first: pick a status (Done, Failed, Running or Skipped) and, if needed, search by the contact’s name, email or phone. The file contains exactly the selection you are looking at.
- Click Export, at the right end of the filter bar.
- In the dialog, the first line tells how many executions will be exported and which selection is active. To limit by date, fill in Period with From and To: it uses the date the execution was triggered, and both fields are optional. Then toggle the column groups you want in the file. All of them start enabled.
- Click Export CSV. A message confirms the export has started.
- Follow the progress in the bulk actions notice in the corner of the screen. When it finishes, click the task to open the details and download the file. The same download is available on the contacts’ Bulk actions page.
What each column group contains
Details that avoid surprises in the spreadsheet:
- One row per execution. If the same contact entered the automation more than once, it appears in more than one row.
- Empty cells come out as
-. An execution that failed before identifying the contact has its contact columns like that. - The duration of a running execution is the time until its last update, not the final duration.
- Current step and path taken use the same name the screen shows for each step (for example, Send WhatsApp or Add tag).
- Executions are listed from newest to oldest, and the file’s text is in Portuguese.
If it did not work
- The Export button is disabled: the current selection has no executions, or the period’s end date is before its start date. Clear the search, switch the status or fix the dates.
- The task finished without a file: the selection became empty between the click and the processing (for example, the automation was deleted). Run the export again.
- I cannot find the download: open the Bulk actions center and click the most recent Executions export task. The file link is temporary — if it expired, export again.
