Why was a meeting marked as No-show on its own?
Because someone in your workspace turned on the Auto No-Show option. With it on, a meeting whose time passes without anyone giving it an outcome is marked as No-show by Clickmax — the same action you would give by hand from the opportunity; only who clicked it changes.
Before you start
- The option is off by default. Without it, no meeting changes status on its own: the outcome always belongs to whoever ran the meeting.
- The option applies to the whole workspace, not per attendant or per schedule.
- Even when it is on, the automatic marking only acts on meetings that have no outcome yet.
When this happens
With the option on, once a meeting's end time passes Clickmax waits a little — enough for a lead running a few minutes late to still join — before marking it as no-show. If you (or the lead) already gave it another outcome before that, the automatic marking does not overwrite anything.
When this does NOT happen
- The option is off. That is the default. While it stays off, every meeting waits for a manual outcome, no matter how old it gets.
- The lead joined the meeting. Clicking Join meeting from the invite link counts as attendance — that meeting never turns into an automatic no-show, even with no manual outcome.
- The meeting already has an outcome. Confirmed does not count as an outcome for this purpose — only completed, cancelled or already marked as no-show take a meeting out of the automatic marking's reach.
- The meeting is old. The automatic marking only covers recent meetings, overdue for a short while. An old meeting with no outcome still needs a manual one — on purpose, so this does not rewrite a large chunk of history all at once.
Where to turn it on or off
The switch lives in the scheduling settings, on the Actions tab, in the Auto No-Show card. Turning it on applies to every appointment in the workspace from that point on; turning it off hands the outcome back entirely to whoever runs the meeting. Meetings already marked do not revert on their own — if one was marked by mistake, correct the outcome from the opportunity.
What changes for the lead and for automations
A meeting marked this way — manually or automatically — behaves exactly like any other meeting marked as no-show: it leaves the queue of pending items, and if there is an automation tied to the meeting-no-show trigger, it fires the same way in both cases. See the trigger catalog to build an automation from it.

If it didn't work
- No meeting is ever marked on its own: check whether Auto No-Show is on under Actions — it ships off.
- An old meeting was not marked even with the option on: that is expected — the automatic marking only covers recent meetings. Give it a manual outcome.
- A meeting was marked as no-show even though the lead was present: check whether they actually clicked Join meeting from the management link — attendance through another path (for example, joining the Google Meet link directly) is not visible to Clickmax.
- Any other unexpected behavior: see the error codes.
