      • Checkout

      The checkout is the page where the buyer enters their details and pays. It belongs to the offer, not to the product: the same product can have several offers, each with its own price and its own checkout.

      Before you start: to sell through the Clickmax checkout, the account must have completed the seller registration (KYC).

      Clickmax checkout or an external one

      When setting up the offer you choose the checkout type:

      • Use the Clickmax checkout — the platform processes the payment, releases the product and records the sale. This is what enables one-click-buy, order bumps and the upsell chain.
      • External checkout — you provide your own checkout's URL. The price you fill in is only shown inside the funnel and does not affect the real charge.

      Payment methods

      The Clickmax checkout accepts credit card, PIX and boleto.

      On the offer you also choose how you are paid:

      Single PaymentYou receive the full amount in the first month, even if the customer pays in instalments.
      Monthly recurrenceYou receive every month, after each payment. It does not tie up the customer's card limit.

      Customising the page

      In the checkout settings you can adjust:

      • The thank-you page — the URL the buyer lands on after paying. Left blank, they land on the Clickmax default.
      • A reservation timer — shows a 10-minute product reservation countdown.
      • Images — the product (500×500px), the top of the page (1024×280px) and the side (424×880px). JPG or PNG, up to 2MB each.
      • Preview — open the checkout preview before publishing.

      Max opens alongside

      When you customise the checkout page, the builder shares the screen with the conversation: Max sits in a column on the left and the editing area on the right, both visible at the same time. Drag the divider to give either side more room, or use the round button on it to collapse and reopen the conversation — collapsing does not interrupt an answer in progress. The checkout and order bump controls stay in the right-hand panel, next to the builder.

      If it didn't work

      • The checkout shows an error page before displaying the offer: refresh it and try again from Preview. If it continues, send the offer URL to support.
      • The checkout says there is no valid gateway: complete the seller registration.
      • The thank-you page will not open: confirm the URL you entered is published and reachable.
      • A payment error: look the message up in the error codes (Portuguese).
