  • How do I see my pipeline health in a canvas next to Max?

Ask something like "How are my sales pipelines doing?" on the Max screen. Instead of a long answer, Max builds a canvas next to the chat with your pipeline metrics, the funnel by stage with the conversion from one stage to the next, the weekly won revenue and the points of attention it found. The chat keeps a short summary and the canvas card.

    Before you start:

    • The canvas opens on the Max screen on a computer. On mobile and in the Max side panel, the canvas card takes you to the conversation on the Max screen.
    • In this version the canvas shows data from your opportunity pipelines.
    • The canvas shows the same numbers you see in the pipeline: if your role only sees its own opportunities, so does the canvas.

    Open the canvas

    1. On the Max screen, ask for an overview, for example "How are my sales pipelines doing?".
    2. The chat shows the analysis steps while Max reads the data (pipelines, opportunities per stage, opportunities at risk). Then Max builds the canvas and it opens to the right of the chat. Each block fetches its own number from the CRM at that moment; while it loads, the block shows in gray.
    3. The Canvas card shows up in the conversation with the title. While the canvas is open, the card says Showing beside; if it is closed, click Open beside.

Specific questions, like "how many leads came in today?", are still answered in the chat.

What the pipeline health canvas shows

    • Metrics: pipeline value and open opportunities (a snapshot of now), win rate and average sales cycle. The last two show the change against the previous period of the same length; for the cycle, going down is good and shows in green.
    • Funnel by stage: the open value of each stage and, next to it, how many opportunities move from it to the next one. The stage that converts below the average of the others shows in red as the bottleneck. Conversion looks at opportunities created in the last 90 days.
    • Weekly won revenue: the value of the opportunities won in each of the last 8 weeks.
    • Points of attention: Risk (opportunities with an overdue task, no next task or no activity for 14 days), Bottleneck (the stage that holds deals back the most, next to the average of the others) and Opportunity (the pipeline that converts the most, next to this one's rate).

Win rate, cycle, stage conversion and won revenue come from the same calculations as Analytics. If your role has no access to Analytics, those blocks say the data couldn't be loaded and the rest of the canvas keeps working.

    Read and use the canvas

    • Points of attention: cards marked Risk, Bottleneck or Opportunity are Max's reading; the numbers inside them come from the CRM. Hover one (or reach it with the Tab key) to highlight the block it talks about. On the bottleneck, the funnel stage lights up with its conversion and the average of the other stages.
    • Go to the CRM: the card link (for example See at-risk proposals) opens the CRM screen with that data.
    • Ask for changes: click a block to select it and write what you want ("show it by count instead of value"). Max updates the same canvas.
    • Suggested actions: when a point of attention has a button (for example, creating a list with the stalled proposals), click it. The request goes to the message field; send it for Max to run.

Max never writes the numbers: if data changes in the CRM, the canvas shows the current value when you open it again.

    Close and reopen

    • The Canvas chip below the message field shows the open canvas. Click it to bring the canvas back and the X to close it.
    • The X at the top of the canvas only hides the panel; the canvas stays in the conversation.
    • When you reopen the conversation later, the canvas that was open comes back with it.

    If something doesn't work

    • "Couldn't load this data." The block couldn't fetch its number, for example because the pipeline was deleted or your role has no access to it. The other blocks keep working; ask Max to rebuild the canvas with another pipeline.
    • "This canvas is no longer in this conversation." The card belongs to another conversation. Ask for the overview again in this conversation.
    • The canvas didn't open. Check that you are on the Max screen on a computer; in the side panel, click the card to go there.
