  • English
  • Why does my automation have the trigger name in front of it?

Because, in earlier versions, choosing the trigger rewrote the automation title and glued the trigger name in front of it, separated by a vertical bar:

    • Contact Captured | Captured the lead
    • Comment on Post or Reel | Webijama example
    • Abandoned Cart | Automation examples

This no longer happens. Choosing or changing the trigger now only touches the trigger: the automation name is yours and changes only when you edit it yourself.

Role: any member with access to the workspace.

How to remove the leftover prefix

The old name stays exactly as stored — nothing is rewritten on its own, neither to add nor to remove the prefix. To clean it up:

    1. Open the automation.
    2. At the top, click the pencil next to the name.
    3. Delete everything before the bar (|), including the bar itself, leaving only the name you gave it.
    4. Press Enter or click outside the field to save.

This works with the automation live too — renaming does not pause it or change its steps. See How do I rename an automation that is live?.
