  • How to see who changed something in the workspace

Open Settings → Audit log. Each row is an action taken in the account: who did it, what they did, on which item and when. Use the filters to find the change you are looking for — for example, who edited an automation yesterday.

The list starts with the most recent actions. At the end of it, click Load more to see earlier ones; changing a filter restarts the list from the top.

    Before you start

    • Role: the Owner and Admins see the Audit log. To give someone else access, check View on the Auditoria row of their job title, in Settings → Permissions. Integrators see it too.
    • History kept: the log keeps the last year. Older records are deleted for good.

    What is recorded

    • Changes that went through: creating, editing, deleting, publishing, activating, pausing, duplicating, importing and exporting account items — automations, funnels, opportunities, contacts, products, job titles and everything else changed through the platform. Just viewing a screen is not recorded, and neither is a refused attempt.
    • Security: sign-ins, failed sign-in attempts, sign-outs, password changes and resets, and every Clickmax support access to the account. They show up under the Security area.

When Clickmax support accesses your account

Support only enters your account to handle a request, and every access follows these rules:

    • Reason required: whoever accesses must state the reason.
    • Up to 1 hour: the access ends on its own, at most one hour after it starts.
    • Read-only by default: support only changes something when the access was opened with write access, on purpose.
    • Always off-limits: billing, balance, team members' access management and contact export stay blocked during the access, even with write access.
    • You are notified: the owner gets an in-app notification with the reason, the end time and the mode (read-only or with write access).
    • Shows up in the Audit log: the access appears as Clickmax support: name · accessed the account (support access). In the details, Record shows the Reason, Valid until and Access (Read-only or With write access). To see only these accesses, filter Action by Clickmax support access.

    How to read a row

    • Who: the person's photo and name, with the role underneath — for example, Integrator. When no one from the team acted, the channel shows instead: Automation, Max, Integration or System.
    • Channel badge: via Max when the person asked Max for the change, and via integration when the change came through an integration, such as an API key or an MCP connection. No badge means the person did it on screen.
    • Clickmax support: name: the change was made by the Clickmax team while assisting your account.
    • Action: what was done — for example, Edited, Published or signed in.
    • Area and Item: where it happened and the item's name — for example, Forms and New quiz. The active badge means the item was on when it was changed.
    • Channel: Screen, Max, Integration, Automation or System.
    • When: the time since the action. Hover to see the exact date and time. edited until 14:32 marks continuous editing: back-to-back saves of the same item, by the same person, less than 15 minutes apart, become a single row.

Click the row to open its details:

    • Open item: opens the automation, funnel, quiz or form in the editor. When the action was the deletion, it shows Item deleted in this action.
    • View item history: filters the screen to that item's actions only — who created, edited and published it. The filter shows as History of: name; the × removes it.
    • What changed: for automations, funnels and forms, the fields that changed (Before and After) and how many steps or blocks were added, changed or removed.
    • Origin: the Person and Support with each one's email, the IP the action came from and the decoded device — Type (computer, phone, tablet, or HTTP client when the call came from a server or integration), Device, Browser, System and Engine — plus the full User agent. Look up location opens an IP lookup on an external site. An IP on an internal network does not tell where the person connected from. In Chrome and Edge the exact system version is not shown: the browser itself hides it.
    • Record: the permission used, the call, the item ID, the exact Date and, for continuous editing, the Continuous editing window (for example, 14:02 → 14:32 · 30 min). When it applies, it also shows the Save type (Draft (automatic) or Publish), Copy of with a link to the original item, and the funnel Blocks affected.

    How to filter

    1. In Search by item name, type part of the name — of an automation, a funnel, a contact.
    2. In the period picker, choose Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days (the default) or Custom, and the From and To dates.
    3. Click Filters. Pick the Field — Area, Action, Channel, Person, Role or Scope — and the values. Use Add filter to combine fields. Person lists whoever already showed up in the history you loaded.
    4. In Scope, choose Support actions only to see only what the Clickmax team did, or Active items only to see only changes made while the item was on.
    5. Clear filters resets everything except the period.

Shortcut from other screens: on lists with a two-part main button (for example, Create quiz), the arrow opens a menu with Audit log, already filtered by that screen's area. In each item's ⋯ menu (a quiz, an automation, an opportunity, a contact) and inside the editors — in the ⋯ menu next to Publish or on the arrow of the save/publish button — Audit log opens only that item's history. The shortcut only shows for people who can see the Audit log.

Filters live in the page address: copy the link to send the same search to someone else with access to the Audit log.

    If it didn't work

    • Audit log shows a lock in the menu: your job title doesn't check View on Auditoria. Ask a workspace admin, in Settings → Permissions.
    • I can't find an old change: check the Period. Records older than one year no longer exist.
    • The person I'm looking for isn't under Person: they only join the list after showing up in the loaded history. Widen the period or search by item name.
    • A lookup doesn't show up: opening screens and viewing data is not recorded — only changes and security events.
    • I just made a change and it doesn't show up: an action takes up to 5 minutes to reach the list — that is the notice Actions show up here within 5 minutes. right below the filters. Wait a few minutes and reload the page.
