  • Link protection

Link protection (also called a cloaker) decides, on every visit, whether the visitor sees the campaign page or a neutral page. It is used to protect paid traffic campaigns from visits outside the target audience.

    Before you start

    • Link protection lives in the project settings.
    • It is worth having your own domain connected before setting the protection up.
    • Which filters you get, and how deep they go, varies by plan.

    The two destinations

    DestinationWho sees it
Campaign pageThe visitor who passes the filters — your real audience.
Neutral pageEveryone else. It must be a legitimate page, coherent with the ad.

The neutral page is not a side detail: it is the one that shows up in any review of the campaign, so it has to make sense on its own.

    Filters

Filters combine signals from the visit — source, device, location and similar — to classify the access. Higher plans unlock more advanced filters.

    If it didn't work

    • The campaign points at the wrong page: confirm which page is set as neutral and which as the campaign one.
    • The option is missing from the menu: check your role in no permission and your plan's limits.
