How do I release a quiz to the client during a meeting?
In a Clickmax Meet meeting, click Release quiz at the top of the room and pick a quiz. It opens for everyone in the meeting in place of the chat, and they answer without leaving the room. Answers land on the appointment's contact, like any quiz.
Before you start
- It only works in Clickmax Meet meetings, and only the person running the meeting sees the button.
- The quiz must exist and be active. Inactive quizzes show in the list but can't be released.
Release the quiz
- In the meeting, click Release quiz at the top of the room.
- In the Quiz in the room side panel, look the quiz up in Search quizzes if the list is long.
- To check it first, click the eye icon (Preview). The quiz opens the way the client will see it, and answering there doesn't count as a response.
- Click Release next to the quiz you want to show.
- The quiz is marked Live, and the quiz button at the top of the room gets a Live badge while the client has it.
Only one quiz is live at a time. Releasing another one replaces what the client sees.
What the client sees
The quiz opens in the room's side panel, in place of the chat, always in the room's standard dark theme: the quiz's colors, font and background are replaced there. The quiz's saved theme doesn't change: the public link keeps the colors you picked. It opens already filled with the appointment's name, email and phone when they exist. In a group meeting, each person who joined through their own link gets the quiz with their appointment's data, and the answers go to their contact. Someone who joined through the room's general link shows as Not identified and gets a blank quiz: the answers only go to a contact if they fill in the capture step. If the person closes it, a quiz button stays at the top of the room to reopen it. When they finish, Answers sent. Thank you! shows and the quiz gets out of the way on its own. If the quiz leads to another page, it opens in a new tab and the meeting goes on.
Follow the answers live
The Quiz in the room side panel shows Live answers for the live quiz above the quiz list. After you withdraw it, the last quiz's answers stay there, marked as not live. Answers come in as each person moves through the steps, without reloading.
- Grouped shows each question with how many people picked each answer and the percentage.
- By person shows what each participant answered and whether they Finished or are still Answering. Click someone's name to see only their answers, or Everyone to go back to the full list.
Name, email and phone from the capture step don't show up here. Answers are never cleared during the meeting: withdrawing, releasing again, or releasing another quiz and coming back keeps what already arrived, and each person counts once. In the list, each quiz shows how many people have answered. The full answers are still saved on the contact, like any quiz, and show with the contact's name in the quiz's Leads tab.
Withdraw the quiz
While the quiz is live, the button next to it turns into Withdraw: click it to take the quiz off the client's screen. To show it again, including to people who closed it, click Release.
If it didn't work
- The Release button is disabled → the quiz is inactive. Activate it and open the list again.
- It shows No quizzes in this account yet → create a quiz before the meeting.
- It shows Couldn't update the room quiz → the quiz may have been deactivated or deleted. Check it and try again.
- The client sees Couldn't open the quiz → ask them to close it and reopen it from the button at the top of the room.
