  • How do I see what the AI SDR did to a contact or opportunity?

Open the activity history of the contact or the opportunity. Everything the AI SDR changed shows up there with the agent's photo and, under the row, a badge with its name, such as Lia action · AI SDR. After each exchange in which it changed the CRM, it leaves an AI SDR decisions row with what it did and why.

    Before you start:

    • Role: a workspace member who can see the contact or the opportunity.
    • An agent answering in Automatic mode. In suggestion mode the agent does not change the CRM, so there is nothing to record. See How do I set up the AI SDR from scratch?.

    Steps

    1. Open the contact (or the opportunity) and go to the activity history.
    2. Look for rows with the agent's photo. Each agent action has its own row:
      • Contact field changed: the field, the previous value and the new one. Writing the same value again does not add a row.
      • Opportunity created and Opportunity updated: when the agent opens the opportunity or changes its title or value.
      • Tags applied, meetings booked and notes written by the agent.
    3. Open the AI SDR decisions row to see what the agent did in that exchange. Each action comes as one sentence, followed by the reason the agent gave.
    4. To see a task the agent created, open the task: its creation shows in the task history authored by AI SDR. The task joins the opportunity history when it is completed, like any other task.

The AI SDR decisions row shows on the contact and, when the contact has an open opportunity, on it too. It never opens an opportunity by itself.

What does not show in AI SDR decisions

    • An exchange in which the agent only talked, without changing the CRM.
    • An exchange in which it only wrote a note or only handed the conversation to the team: the note and the handoff summary already explain what happened.

    If it did not work

    • A change on the contact is not authored by AI SDR. The agent did not make it. Check the row author: it may be a team member, an automation or an API-key integration.
    • The row only shows "AI SDR", with no photo or name. The agent was deleted, you have no access to AI agents, or the action happened before the history stored which agent acted.
    • Actions authored by Max. Max acts on behalf of a person, and the row shows that person's name with the via Max badge. AI SDR actions have no person behind them.
    • To find out why the agent did not answer, use AI SDR observability.
