      • Integrate Guru

      Create an inbound integration in Clickmax, paste your Guru account's Account Token, and register the generated URL in Guru's sales and subscriptions webhooks. From then on every event carrying an email creates or updates a contact (tagged guru), and approved sales become sales in Clickmax.

      Before you start

      • Workspace role: Owner, Admin, Editor or Collaborator. Finance, Guest and Attendant have no access to Integrations.
      • Plan:
      • From your Guru account you need the Account Token (on the account's detail tab), which validates the webhooks and is required. The Api Token (on your profile's API tokens tab) is optional — it lets Clickmax fetch product names.

      Step by step

      1. In Clickmax, open Integrations and select the Digital Manager Guru card.
      2. In another tab, sign in to Digital Manager Guru.
      3. In Guru, open your account's detail tab, copy the Account Token and paste it into the token field in Clickmax.
      4. (Optional) In Guru, on your profile's API tokens tab, copy the Api Token and paste it into the API token field in Clickmax.
      5. Give the integration a name and create it.
      6. Clickmax generates a webhook URL. Copy it.
      7. In Guru, configure the sales and subscriptions webhooks and paste the URL into each.
      8. In Guru, tick the statuses you want to receive, for both sales and subscriptions.
      9. Return to Clickmax and finish the integration.

      What starts arriving

      Every event carrying an email creates or updates a contact tagged guru. Approved sales mark the contact as a customer and record the sale; cancellation, refund, chargeback and decline are also recorded against that sale. Subscriptions (active, overdue, cancelled, expired and trial) arrive as activity and as triggers. Events without the buyer's email are ignored.

      If it didn't work

      • Nothing arrives: the Account Token is required and must match what Guru sends.
      • The contact does not appear: events without the buyer's email are ignored.
      • You cannot find the Integrations menu: see no permission.
