Connect WooCommerce
Type your store address, click Connect with WooCommerce and approve access in WordPress: from then on the store's orders create or update contacts (tagged woocommerce), record sales and fire automations. Clickmax registers the webhooks in your store for you — there is no URL to copy.
It works with any payment method the store uses (PagBank, Mercado Pago, Pagar.me, Pix, boleto, card…): Clickmax follows the order status in WooCommerce, which is what the gateway updates when a payment is confirmed, declined or returned.
Before you start
- Workspace role: Owner, Admin, Editor or Collaborator. The Finance, Guest and Agent roles have no access to Integrations.
- You must log in to the store's WordPress as an administrator.
- The store must open with https (padlock in the browser).
- In WordPress Settings → Permalinks, the option cannot be Plain.
Steps
- In Clickmax, open Integrations and select the WooCommerce card.
- Type the store address, for example
https://mystore.com. - Click Connect with WooCommerce.
- You are taken to your store's WordPress. Log in if you are not logged in yet.
- On the authorization screen, check that the requested access is Read/Write and click Approve. Write access is only used to register the Clickmax webhooks; orders and products are only read.
- You come back to Integrations with the WooCommerce connected message, and the integration shows up in the list.
To double-check, open WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks in WordPress: you should see two Clickmax webhooks with status Active.
Connect manually, with the API keys
Use this path if the authorization screen does not open (some security plugins and hosts block that flow):
- In the store's WordPress, open WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API and click Add key.
- In Description, type
Clickmax. In User, pick an administrator. In Permissions, choose Read/Write. - Click Generate API key and copy the Consumer key (starts with
ck_) and the Consumer secret (starts withcs_). The secret is shown only once. - In Clickmax, on the WooCommerce card, fill in the Store address and click Connect manually. Paste the consumer key in the Consumer Key field and the secret in the Consumer Secret field.
- Click Connect store. Clickmax validates the keys and registers the webhooks in the store.
What starts arriving
Every order with an email creates or updates a contact tagged woocommerce, records an activity in the contact history, records a sale and can fire automations.
Common questions:
- One order is one sale. When the status changes (for example, the generated Pix gets paid), the same sale moves from Pending to Approved — no new sale is created.
- Editing the order does not fire again. Adding a note, changing shipping or moving from Processing to Completed does not repeat the trigger: it only fires when the sale changes status.
- An order that is already paid when created goes straight to Approved (common with cards), without an Order created event.
- Partial refunds do not arrive. WooCommerce only sets the order to Refunded when the full amount is returned.
- A refund does not change the sale amount. The sale becomes Refunded and keeps the order total.
- Pending sales do not count as revenue. Revenue indicators, average ticket and the contact's LTV only add up approved sales.
- One sale per order, not per product. An order with three products creates one sale with the order total and three activities in the contact history, one per product.
- A paid order marks the contact as a customer.
- Orders without a billing email are ignored, because the contact cannot be identified without an email.
- It can take a few minutes. WooCommerce sends its notifications in the background; on low-traffic stores they may take a little longer to arrive.
- There is no abandoned-cart or chargeback trigger: WooCommerce has no such events.
Product filter
In the triggers you can filter by product: Clickmax lists the products straight from your store. The trigger fires if the chosen product is in any item of the order. Products with variations (color, size) show up once, as the parent product.
Disconnect
Delete the integration in Integrations. Clickmax removes the webhooks it created in the store and stops receiving orders. If the key was already revoked, deleting still works; any webhooks left in the store are disabled by WooCommerce itself after a few rejected deliveries, or you can delete them in WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → Webhooks.
Deactivating the integration does not depend on the store either: orders stop being recorded right away.
The API key stays registered in WordPress. To revoke it, open WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API and delete the Clickmax key.
Reconnect the store
Use Reconnect store on the integration page when:
- you revoked or deleted the Clickmax key in WordPress;
- the store stopped sending orders because WooCommerce disabled the webhooks.
Clickmax opens the authorization screen of the same store; after Approve, the same integration gets new keys, becomes active again and the webhooks are turned back on. Contacts, sales and history stay the same.
Revoking the key does not stop orders by itself: the webhooks stay in the store and keep sending. What stops working is what Clickmax does in the store — listing products in triggers and activating the integration again.
Contacts, sales and activities already received stay in your account. To start receiving again, connect again: the store's previous integration is reused in the same workspace, without duplicates.

If it didn't work
- "We could not find your WooCommerce store" appeared: check that it opens with
https://and that it is the site address (not thewp-admindashboard). The store must be online with WooCommerce active. - The authorization screen did not open, showed an error, or "Could not connect WooCommerce" appeared: check that WordPress permalinks are not set to Plain. If it persists, use Connect manually.
- "Connection canceled" appeared: you clicked Deny in WordPress. Connect again and click Approve.
- "Could not validate the keys" appeared: generate a new key with Read/Write permission and paste the key and secret without spaces.
- "The WooCommerce store rejected the Clickmax keys" appeared: the key was revoked in WordPress or lacks Read/Write permission. Use Reconnect store.
- No order arrives: check that the integration is active in Integrations and that the Clickmax webhooks are Active in WordPress. WooCommerce disables a webhook after several failed deliveries; connecting again from Clickmax reactivates both.
- A specific order did not arrive: orders without a billing email are discarded, and partial refunds do not change the order status.
