      • How do I remove an editor automation that is listening to my funnel?

      Open the More actions (⋮) menu on the automation row inside the funnel builder and choose Detach from this funnel — the automation stops listening to this funnel and keeps existing. If you want it to stop running everywhere, choose Pause automation.

      Role: you need edit access to the funnel in the workspace. See permissions.

      Before you start: understand why these automations show up in the funnel — they were created in the automations editor and the funnel only shows them as a reference.

      Detach the automation from this funnel

      1. Open the funnel in the builder.
      2. Find the automation in the External automations listening to this card block, below the page card, or in the Automations panel, under Editor flows.
      3. Click More actions (⋮) on the automation row.
      4. Click Detach from this funnel.
      5. Read the confirmation: it states how many references to this funnel will be removed and how many scopes remain on the trigger.
      6. Confirm with Detach from this funnel.

      The automation disappears from the funnel list. It is not deleted: it stays in the automations editor and keeps running in the other funnels, pages or offers the trigger still uses.

      Pause the whole automation

      Use this when the automation should not run anywhere, not just here.

      1. Open the More actions (⋮) menu on the automation row.
      2. Click Pause automation.
      3. Confirm with Pause automation.

      The flow moves to the Closed status and stops taking new contacts across all of ClickMax — including the other funnels and pages where it is used. It is not deleted: it stays in the automations editor and can be reactivated there.

      The first case is blocked on purpose: a reference is what limits the trigger's reach. If it is the last one, removing it does not turn the automation off — it does the opposite, freeing the trigger to fire across every funnel, page and offer in the workspace. That is why the way out there is to pause, not to detach.
