  • How do I change the image and text shown when I share the quiz link?

Open the quiz, go to Settings → Link preview and fill in Card title, Card description and Card image. Save the quiz: from then on, anyone pasting the link into WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, X or Telegram sees that card instead of the bare link.

    Before you start

    • Role: owner, admin, editor or collaborator — the roles that can see Projects. See what to do without permission.
    • Where: Projects → Quiz menu, open the quiz and pick the Settings tab.
    • It applies to both quiz links: the default Public link and the link on your Custom domain, when you have one set up.

    Step by step

    1. In Projects → Quiz, open the quiz you are going to share.
    2. Click the Settings tab and scroll to the Link preview card.
    3. In Card title, write the headline shown in bold on the card (up to 120 characters). Leave it empty to use the quiz title.
    4. In Card description, write one or two sentences (up to 300 characters). Leave it empty to use the quiz description.
    5. In Card image, click Upload image or drag the file in. Use a 1.91:1 image — 1200×630 pixels is the safest size.
    6. Check the Preview block right below: it shows an approximation of how the card will look.
    7. Click Save (or Publish) at the top of the editor. The preview only changes after you save.

What each field becomes on the card

    FieldOn the cardIf left empty
Card titleThe bold lineUses the quiz title
Card descriptionThe supporting line, below the titleUses the quiz description
Card imageThe large image at the topThe card is text only
    • The image accepts JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB — the same limits as images inside the quiz. See the upload limits.
    • Images outside the 1.91:1 ratio are not rejected, but the networks crop the overflow — keep text and logos away from the edges.

    If it did not work

    • The old card still shows up: networks cache the card for hours or days. Share the link with a different parameter to test (for example ?v=2), or use the network's own sharing debugger to force a re-read.
    • You saved but the card did not change: make sure you clicked Save or Publish after editing the fields — leaving the tab does not save on its own. On a Custom domain, the new link can take about a minute to propagate.
    • The image does not show on the card: it must be publicly reachable and start with https://. If you pasted a URL from another site, try opening it in a private tab.
    • The card shows without an image on X (Twitter): with no image, the card is rendered in the small text-only format. Upload an image to get the large format.
