How do I create a page with AI in Clickmax?
Ask Max to create a page, and it arrives as a draft. In Max, publishing is always a separate action that requires your approval. With an external AI over MCP, use draft creation and check the MCP client's confirmation policy before allowing publication.
Before you start:
- Role: Owner, Administrator, or Editor.
- Have the page's goal at hand (lead capture, sales, checkout, thank-you, upsell, or downsell), its audience, and — for a sales/checkout page — the offer it should charge.
- To use your own AI instead of Max, see the prerequisites in the MCP reference (Portuguese).
1. Describe the page you want
Under Create → Pages, use Create page and choose With AI. A box opens asking What page do you want to create? and, right below it, the available goals — Sell, Capture leads, Book a meeting, Take applications, Send to WhatsApp and Checkout. Picking a goal is optional, but it saves the AI from asking later.
There are clickable examples too: clicking one fills in the box so you can adjust it before sending, and never sends on its own. When the box already has text, the example is added as a new paragraph instead of replacing what you wrote.
A description is required here — Create page with Max stays disabled until you write something. The box takes up to 2,000 characters; past that, the text is cut at the end of the last word that fits.
State the goal, the audience, and the tone you want. The more specific — "a capture page for audience X, offering Y in exchange for their email" — the fewer assumptions the AI has to make. If the page is part of a funnel, say so: every page in the same funnel comes out with the same visual identity (colors, typography, button style).
If the page sells something or has a checkout, say which offer it should charge. Without an offer attached, the payment block shows up on the page but does not charge anything.
If you want photos on the page, name the subject ("gym photos", "office environment") or send links to your own images. With no guidance, the AI decides whether to search a stock photo or deliver the page with text and colors only.
2. The AI checks the content before delivering it
Before showing anything as finished, the AI automatically checks that the page fulfills the requested purpose — for example, that a capture page really has a working form, or that a checkout page really has the payment block. When something does not match, it fixes it and checks again on its own, without you having to point out the problem.
This check creates nothing and publishes nothing — it only happens before the page exists.
3. The page arrives as a draft
Once it passes the check, the page is created inside Clickmax as a draft. Automatic creation (without you confirming each step) never publishes: putting it live is always a separate step that requires your explicit approval.
4. Open the page and review it
Open the created page and check:
- Content — the copy, images, and sections make sense for the requested goal; no proof (testimonial, number, certification) was invented.
- Photos — every image relates to the subject, and the author credit, when there is one, is visible.
- Responsiveness — the page works well on both mobile and desktop.
- Form (capture pages) — the requested fields exist and the submit button works.
- Checkout (sales/checkout pages) — the payment block shows up and is bound to the right offer.
Any copy or visual tweak can be made directly in the editor before publishing.
5. Publish when it's ready
In the editor or Max, the page only goes live after you request and approve publication. External MCP clients control their own confirmations; verify that your client asks for authorization before enabling publishing actions.
Where the photos come from
The AI never creates or invents images. It uses one of two sources:
- Your images — any
httpslink you send with the request. - Free stock photo banks — it searches photos by the page subject and uses the photo's original link.
Stock photos stay hosted on the source site, and some licenses require visible credit to the author; when that applies, the credit appears on the page and must not be removed.
If the delivered photo has nothing to do with the subject, ask for another search with a more concrete term ("woman training at the gym" works better than "success") or send your own image. You can also swap any photo directly in the editor.

If it didn't work
- The created page is missing the form, the checkout, or the section you asked for: ask Max to fix it — it reapplies the same check before delivering it again.
- The page looks finished but was never published: Max's automatic workflow ends in a draft; publishing is a separate step.
- The photos have nothing to do with the page subject: ask for a new search with a more concrete visual term, or send links to your own images.
- An action was blocked by an error: see the error codes (Portuguese).
One specific element doesn't work
First ask Max to rebuild just that block, describing what's wrong ("the countdown doesn't count down", "the pop-up opens by itself as soon as the page loads"). If the problem continues after that, adjust the element once directly in the editor — from that point on it behaves like any element built by hand.
- Countdown timer shows numbers but stays frozen, never counting down: ask Max to rebuild the timer, stating the exact end date and time you want. See How does the global countdown timer work in ClickMax?.
- The whole page disappears (blank in the editor and on the published page) after setting the timer's Show field: that field no longer accepts the section or block that wraps the timer itself. If the page is already blank, select the timer and clear its Show field — or remove the timer, which brings the hidden elements back.
- FAQ doesn't reveal the answer when you click the question, or opens and never closes again: ask Max to rebuild that question-and-answer block.
- Pop-up covers the whole screen the moment the page loads instead of appearing only on the requested trigger (on exit intent, for example): ask Max to fix the trigger. If the page has more than one pop-up and the second one never opens, ask Max to rebuild it keeping only one, or build the second one by hand in the editor. See How do I add a pop-up to a sales page?.
- Order bump checkbox or button at checkout doesn't add the extra offer when checked: confirm the offer is set up correctly in How do I add an Order Bump in ClickMax? and ask Max to rebuild the block pointing at the right offer.
- Navigation menu links change the page address (
#section-nameappears) but the screen doesn't scroll to the section: publish the page again — the published version then scrolls to the right section. When you open it in the editor, the menu shows up under Gerenciar Menu with the same links. - Icon with an action set (its Ao Clicar field, Portuguese for "On click": open a link, scroll to a section, show/hide content, open/close a pop-up, mark as complete) does nothing when clicked: ask Max to rebuild the icon, stating the exact action and its target — the link, the section, or the pop-up.
- VTurb video fails to load or play: check that the VTurb account is connected in Connect Vturb and read your VSL metrics and ask Max to rebuild the video block pointing at the right video.
- "Show content after watching part of the video" (YouTube or Vimeo) reveals nothing once the configured time passes: check the time you set and ask Max to rebuild the video's timer. See How to make a button appear after a set point in the video.
