      How do I add new steps to a funnel?

      Inside the funnel, open the Add Step menu in one of these ways:

      • Right-click an empty spot on the canvas.
      • Click the + in the toolbar at the bottom of the canvas, then click the canvas where the step should go.
      • Drag a connection from a step trigger and drop it on empty space. The new step is created already connected.

      Then choose the type:

      1. Page: you then pick a capture, sales or generic page.
      2. Traffic Sources: a set of links that send traffic to the same destination.
      3. Messaging Flow: message automations fired by funnel triggers.
      4. Quiz: sends the lead to a quiz.
      5. A/B Test: compares versions and splits traffic between them (see A/B testing).
      6. Conditional: alternative paths based on rules.

      Annotations (sticky notes) are not in this menu. Use the note tool in the bottom toolbar and click the canvas where you want the note.

      If it didn't work

      • The Add Step menu doesn't show up: open the funnel from the funnels section before editing its steps.
      • An option looks dimmed: it can't start from that connection. Create the step on its own on the canvas and connect it afterwards.
      • You have reached the maximum number of steps or funnels: see the funnel limit.
      • You don't have permission to edit the funnel: check the permissions.
