Why does the funnel warn me that the checkout offer is not approved?
Because the offer linked to that checkout page is not approved yet — and until it is, the checkout will not complete any purchase. The warning is there so you don't send traffic to a page that cannot sell.
Building the funnel with an offer still under review is allowed: you can get everything ready while you wait for approval. What does not happen is the sale.
Prerequisite: access to Create → Funnels and to Products with the Owner, Admin, or Editor role.
Where the warning shows up
- On the step card, inside the funnel: a yellow strip reading Checkout won't sell, with each problem offer and its reason listed below.
- When publishing, in the publish modal: a yellow block stating how many checkout pages won't sell, plus a warning triangle on each affected page row.
The warning covers both the main offer and any order bump. A single unapproved order bump is enough to stop the whole checkout from selling, even when the main offer is approved — which is why it shows in the list labelled Order bump.
Fix the warning
- Click the flagged offer in the warning, either on the step card or in the publish modal. The offer opens in Products in a new tab — the funnel stays open in the original tab.
- Complete whatever is missing in the product and offer details.
- Submit the product for review. Timing and how moderation works are covered in How does product approval work in Clickmax?.
- Once the offer is approved, reload the funnel. The warning clears when the funnel reads the offer status again.
What each reason means
- Awaiting approval — the offer was submitted and is in the moderation queue. Just wait.
- Incomplete / Ready to submit — details are missing, or they are complete but the product has not been submitted for review yet.
- Awaiting corrections — moderation asked for changes; fix them and resubmit.
- Rejected — the offer did not pass review. Revise the details before resubmitting.
- Archived — the offer is archived and cannot be sold; pick another offer on the checkout step.
- Out of stock — physical product with no stock available; update the stock in Products.
- Unavailable — the offer is not sellable for another reason. Open it in Products to see what it needs.

If it didn't work
- The warning stays after approval: reload the funnel. Offer status is read together with the product catalogue, and a tab left open for a long time may still show the previous status.
- No offer is flagged, but the checkout still doesn't sell: check your seller registration — without it no charge completes, regardless of the offer.
- The step shows no offer at all: the page has no offer selected yet. Use Configure Offers on the step card, as described in Can I use a product from another project in my funnel?.
