#What is an inbound webhook in Clickmax?

An inbound webhook is a URL generated by Clickmax that receives data sent by external systems. Whenever the other system fires an event (a sign-up, a purchase or a new lead, for example), it makes a request to that URL and Clickmax records the information as a contact or an activity.

Use it when you want to bring data that originates elsewhere into Clickmax and there is no ready-made integration. To send data from Clickmax to another tool, use an outbound webhook.
