How do I sell on WhatsApp from a funnel?
In consultative or high-ticket selling, the page does not close the deal on its own: it leads into a conversation. The funnel's job here is to qualify and hand the contact over with context.
Before you start
- Role: Owner, Admin or Editor.
- Connect the channel first: connect WhatsApp.
- If more than one person will be answering, set up distribution in attendant assignment.
1. Capture before you send them to the conversation
Put a short form in front of the WhatsApp button. Without it, anyone who leaves the page becomes an anonymous conversation, and you lose the lead if they never reply.
2. Take them into the conversation
Add the WhatsApp button to the funnel page. Send the person through with an opening message already filled in — it identifies which page they came from and saves the attendant from having to ask.
3. Receive it in the inbox with context
The conversation arrives in Contacts, linked to the contact you captured. The attendant sees the history and where the person came from, instead of starting from zero.
4. Record it as an opportunity
Every conversation showing buying intent becomes an opportunity in the pipeline: build your first pipeline. That is what turns a conversation into a revenue forecast rather than an inbox.
Anyone who does not close should be marked as lost with a reason — see lost opportunity.
5. Close with the payment link
Once the deal is agreed, send the checkout link in the conversation. The sale lands in Sales and ties the order to the contact.
