  • How do I make my first sale in Clickmax?

This is the shortest path between an empty account and a paid order. Five pieces have to exist, in order: who receives the money, what you sell, where the customer pays, where the page lives and how you confirm it arrived.

    Before you start

    • Role: Owner or Admin — seller registration and the wallet do not open for other roles.
    • Have the seller registration documents and the receiving bank account details to hand.
    • Your own domain is recommended, but you can publish and test before connecting one.

    1. Enable receiving

Without this the checkout refuses the sale, saying there is no valid gateway. Complete the seller registration (KYC) before anything else — approval is not instant, so start here.

    2. Register the product and the offer

In Products, create the product and at least one offer. The offer is what carries the price, the payment type and the checkout — the product alone does not sell.

If you sell access to content, define the deliverable now: see deliver in the members area.

    3. Set up the checkout

On the offer, choose the Clickmax checkout and set the payment type. The details of each option are in Checkout.

It is worth customising the thank-you page straight away: it tells the buyer what happens after payment, and it is where most support questions come from when it is left blank.

    4. Publish the sales page

Build the page in Pages inside a funnel, connect the checkout and publish. For the address to be yours, connect a domain: publish with your own domain.

    5. Test it as the customer

Open the published page in a private window and walk the whole flow through to payment. This is where the real problems show up: a checkout that will not open, a broken thank-you page, a product that never unlocks.

    6. Confirm the sale and the money

The order appears in Sales. The amount lands in My Wallet as total balance, and becomes available to withdraw after the release period.

    If it didn't work

    • The checkout says there is no valid gateway: the seller registration is not complete or not approved yet.
    • The page will not open on your domain: see my domain does not open.
    • The sale went through but the customer got no access: check the deliverable in Products.
