  • How do I connect my AI to Clickmax?

Clickmax exposes an MCP — a standardised channel through which AI assistants reach your account. Connected, the assistant queries and operates on real data instead of answering by guesswork.

    Before you start

    • You need an assistant that supports MCP.
    • Access happens on your behalf: the AI sees what your user sees, bounded by your role — see the roles and permissions reference (Portuguese).

    1. Understand the reach

A connected assistant acts within your permissions. That is a protection, but it also means that if you are the Owner, it reaches everything you reach.

Before you connect, think about who has access to the assistant you are wiring into your operation.

    2. Connect

The platform walks you through it under Connect an AI (MCP): it generates the access token, builds the configuration for your client and tests the connection. The token is shown only once — copy it and store it safely, never in code. You can review and revoke access later under MCP keys.

Every assistant has its own way of adding an MCP server; the configuration and the address are also in the reference (Portuguese).

    3. Start by asking questions

In the first conversations, ask for reads, not writes: how many contacts came in this week, which sales were made, what is stuck in the pipeline. That way you learn what it can reach without risk.

    4. Check before you trust

Like any assistant, it can misread an ambiguous request. For anything that changes data, confirm the result in the interface before moving on.

    5. Max, the platform's own assistant

If what you want is help inside the product, Max already works with your account's context and needs no setup — see Max day to day.

    If it didn't work

    • The assistant will not connect: re-check the configured address and whether the session is authenticated.
    • It finds no data: confirm you are on the right workspace and project.
    • Actions are missing: your role may be restricting what it can do.
