How do I migrate from the V2 builder to V3?
The current builder has a structure of its own: settings at funnel level that the pages inherit, tracking with dedicated fields, and publishing controlled per funnel. Migrating is not copying pages across — it is rebuilding, taking advantage of what the new version does better.
Before you start
- Role: Owner, Admin or Editor.
- List the pages in production and which ones receive paid traffic.
- Pick a quiet window.
1. What changes
The change that saves the most work is inheritance: set the Pixel, GTM, SEO and scripts once on the funnel and every page picks them up.
2. Rebuild the funnel
Build the structure in the new funnel, on a temporary address, without touching what is live.
3. Configure at funnel level
Before detailing pages, configure the funnel: domain, tracking, default SEO and scripts. That way each new page is born correct.
4. Recreate the pages
Recreate them step by step in Pages, fixing whatever was already not working well.
5. Reconfigure the tracking
Do not copy the old script across: use the Tracking fields — see end-to-end tracking. Keeping the pasted code as a script and filling in the field produces duplicated conversions.
6. Test everything
Walk it from the entry point through to payment and validate the tracking with validate pixel and events.
7. Switch the domain over
Point the domain at the new funnel — see migrate domains from V2 to V3. Keep the old one reachable for a few days.
8. Keep watch
Compare sales and conversion over the first few hours. If they drop, check the tracking before touching the content.
