  • How do I protect my campaign with a neutral page?

Link protection decides, on every visit, whether the person sees the campaign page or the neutral page. Getting this right depends less on the configuration and more on the quality of the neutral page.

    Before you start

    • Role: Owner or Admin.
    • Have your own domain connected. Using the temporary domain here weakens both the protection and your credibility.
    • Which filters you get varies by plan — see the limits and quotas reference (Portuguese).

    1. Build the neutral page first

This is the step people skip, and it is the one that matters most. The neutral page has to be a real, coherent page: genuine content, on the topic, navigable.

An empty or generic neutral page draws more attention than having no protection at all.

    2. Prepare the campaign page

In the funnel, build the page your real audience should see, with the offer and the checkout.

    3. Configure the protection

In the project settings, create the protection pointing at both destinations and adjust the filters.

Start permissive: filters that are too tight send your own audience to the neutral page and the campaign never converts.

    4. Test both paths

Visit through the path your real audience takes and confirm the campaign appears. Then visit differently — another device, another network — and confirm you get the neutral page.

Testing only one side is the classic mistake: you see the campaign, conclude everything is fine, and all your paid traffic is going to the neutral page.

    5. Watch it after going live

If conversion collapses after you switch the protection on, that is a sign the filters are stopping too many people. Compare against the previous period in measure campaign ROI.

    If it didn't work

    • Everyone sees the neutral page: the filters are too restrictive.
    • Everyone sees the campaign: the protection may not be active on the link you published.
    • The option is missing: check your role in the roles and permissions reference (Portuguese) and your plan in the limits and quotas reference (Portuguese).
