  • How do I register a product and put it on sale?

The most common confusion here is between product and offer. The product is what you deliver; the offer is how you sell it. One product can have several offers — different prices, terms and audiences — and it is the offer that carries the checkout.

    Before you start

    • Role: Owner, Admin or Editor.
    • To sell through the Clickmax checkout, complete the seller registration first.

    1. Register the product

In Products, create the product with a name and a description. The description of what the product delivers is also used when the offer is reviewed — it is worth writing carefully rather than leaving it generic.

Set the language and the main country of sale: they guide the review and what the buyer sees.

    2. Define the deliverable

What the buyer receives when they pay. If it is content, the natural route is the members area — see deliver in the members area.

A product with no deliverable produces the worst possible experience: someone pays and receives nothing.

    3. Create the offer

On the offer you set the price, any discount and the payment type. Single Payment pays you in full in the first month even when the customer pays in instalments; monthly recurrence pays you each cycle. Details in Checkout.

    4. Set up the checkout

Choose the Clickmax checkout and adjust the thank-you page and the images. It is worth previewing the checkout before publishing — it is the screen the buyer sees at the moment they decide.

    5. Release it for sale

With the product, deliverable and offer ready, release it for sale and connect the checkout to the funnel page.

    6. Make a test purchase

Buy it yourself, start to finish, and confirm access is granted. This step is the difference between finding the problem now and finding it with your first real customer.

    If it didn't work

    • The checkout will not open: confirm the seller registration.
    • The buyer received no access: review the product's deliverable.
    • The offer does not appear on the page: confirm it is released for sale and connected to the funnel.
