How do I organise domains and subdomains across projects?
Anyone running more than one offer reaches this question early: buy a domain per campaign, use subdomains of the same one, or put everything under a single address? The choice affects cost, reputation and tracking.
Before you start
- Role: Owner or Admin.
- Remember that plan limits are shared across all of your workspaces — including the domain quota.
Domain, subdomain and path
In the address www.mysite.com, mysite.com is the domain and www is the subdomain. You register the domain once and create as many subdomains as you like without paying again.
Reputation: the argument that usually decides it
A domain is a reputation asset. If one aggressive campaign damages the domain, everything underneath it is affected — including the healthy offers. That is why paid-traffic operations tend to isolate risky campaigns on separate domains and keep the main brand untouched.
Project and domain
Each domain is linked to a project. A domain with no link shows as No project in the list and does not serve pages. If you organise offers by project, link the domain to the matching project before you build the funnels.
Getting started
If you are starting out, one domain with subdomains is enough. Fragmenting too early creates maintenance work — each domain has its own DNS, its own renewal date and its own configuration.
