How do I get my pages to show up on Google?
Not every page should appear in a search engine. Upsell pages, thank-you pages and restricted-offer pages should not be indexed — the decision about what to index comes before any optimisation.
Before you start
- Role: Owner, Admin or Editor.
- Organic search results take weeks or months. If you need traffic now, the route is advertising.
1. Decide what to index
An indexed restricted-offer page turns up in search and anyone can reach the price that was meant to be exclusive.
2. Set indexing at the right level
Under Funnel Settings → SEO there is an Index new pages by default option, plus Apply default setting to all existing pages. Setting this on the funnel stops you forgetting page by page.
Any individual page can override the rule under Page Settings → SEO, with the Index in search engines switch.
3. Write the title and the description
Under Page Settings → SEO, fill in the SEO Title and the Meta Description. These are what appears in the search result — and what decides whether anyone clicks.
Write for a person, not for a robot: a title that describes the content clearly earns more clicks than a pile of keywords.
4. Set the sharing image
The OG Image is what appears when someone shares your link on a social network or on WhatsApp. Without it, the link shows up with no image and gets fewer clicks.
Set the Default OG Image on the funnel so it applies to every page (1200x630px), and override it only where you need to. The favicon follows the same logic.
5. Look after speed
A slow page hurts both ranking and conversion — see speed up my pages.
6. Use your own domain
Content on your own domain builds authority for you. See publish with your own domain.
