  • I am coming from another platform — where do I start?

There is only one rule for a migration: do not switch off what is selling before the new setup works. Migrate in parallel, validate, and only then flip the switch.

    Before you start

    • Role: Owner or Admin.
    • Set aside real time. A rushed migration breaks sales.
    • Do not migrate everything at once. Start with one offer and learn from it.

    The order that works

    OrderWhatWhy it comes first
1Receiving moneyApproval takes time; nothing sells without it
2Products and offersThe foundation for everything else
3DeliveryA paying customer has to receive something
4Pages and funnelsCan be built in parallel
    5DomainThe real switch-over
    6ContactsOnce the structure exists
    7AutomationsLast, with everything else validated

    1. Enable receiving

Start with start receiving money. It is the step that depends on third parties and the one that delays migrations most.

    2. Recreate products and offers

Follow product and offer from scratch. Take the chance to review prices and conditions instead of copying blindly.

    3. Sort out delivery

If you deliver content, decide: bring it into the members area here, or keep your current platform and grant access by webhook.

Anyone who has already bought must not lose access at the switch-over. Handle that explicitly.

    4. Rebuild pages and funnels

See migrate pages from another tool. Use a temporary address while you build.

    5. Bring the contacts across

Follow migrate your contact base. Mark the batch with a tag and a date — months from now you will want to know who came from where.

    6. Switch the domain over

Only once the whole flow has been tested: publish with your own domain. Create redirects for the old links already in circulation.

    7. Recreate the automations

Last. An automation pointing at a half-finished structure sends the wrong message to a real customer.

    8. Do not switch the old platform off straight away

Keep the previous platform accessible for a while. A migration always forgets something, and it is better to find out while the old setup is still available.

    If it didn't work

    • Sales dropped after the switch-over: it is usually tracking — see validate pixel and events.
    • An existing customer lost access: review delivery before shutting the previous environment down.
    • Links you had published broke: create redirects.
