How do I sell in other currencies?
Selling outside Brazil changes three things: the offer's currency, the payment methods available to that audience, and the route the money takes to your account.
Before you start
- Role: Owner or Admin.
- Seller registration completed.
- Decide your main selling country up front — you declare it when you register the product, and it guides the review of the offer.
1. Set the product up for the right audience
When you register the product you set the Product language and the Main country of sale. These fields are not decorative: they guide the review of the offer and what the buyer sees.
2. Understand what changes in the payment methods
PIX and Bank Slip are Brazilian methods. For buyers outside Brazil, the credit card is the practical route. That affects how you design the page: promising PIX to an international audience produces abandonment at the checkout.
3. Adjust the page and the checkout
The page has to speak the buyer's language — including the checkout. A page in English that ends in a checkout in Portuguese loses the sale at the last step.
4. Check how you get paid
The amount lands in My Wallet like any other sale. Currency conversion and fees appear in the Transfer Summary when you use Request withdrawal — see wallet and withdrawals.
