  • How do I run an offer with a deadline that is individual per lead?

In a traditional launch everybody shares the same closing date. In the evergreen model the clock starts when that particular person enters — the funnel runs all year and each lead lives their own window.

    Before you start

    • Role: Owner, Admin or Editor.
    • Have the capture funnel and the offer already working with a fixed deadline before you move to evergreen. Debugging both at once is much harder.

    1. Define the window

Choose how many days the offer stays available from the moment the lead enters. A short deadline creates real urgency; a long one dilutes the decision.

    2. Set up the individual countdown

Use the counter that runs on a per-lead deadline, not the global fixed-date counter. The difference is essential: the global one shows the same date to everyone, while the individual one starts from each person's moment of entry.

    3. Chain the sequence to the same clock

The automation has to follow the same deadline as the counter. If the email says "24 hours left" and the counter on the page shows something else, the promise falls apart.

    4. Close the door on people past the deadline

When a lead's window ends, they should not be able to keep buying through the old link. Use a Conditional in the funnel to divert anyone already past the deadline to an "offer closed" page.

Without that diversion, evergreen turns into a permanent discount — and your audience notices.

    5. Test it with a real lead

Enter the funnel with a test contact and follow the whole cycle through to closing. It is the only way to confirm that the counter, the emails and the diversion are all on the same clock.

    If it didn't work

    • The counter restarts on every visit: it is in global or per-session mode, not per lead.
    • People past the deadline can still buy: the diverting conditional is missing.
    • The emails do not match the counter: review the flow's timings in Automations.
